These manual fill cold water softeners can be used for great results on small dishwashers and glasswashers. Simple installation and no electrical point needed. The system works by manually flushing the resin beads with a salt solution as and when required. In order to guarantee the performance of your softener (the resin) it is necessary to:
-Fill up the softener with drinking water at room temperature and wait for a minimun of two hours.
-Then, rinse (possibly upstream) during 30 minutes at least, in order to get perfectly clean water at the outlet.
When the water softener is found saturated and does not decalcify any more, it must be regenerated.
Regeneration shall be performed at a regenerative capacity of 250 gr of NaCl (bay salt) per litre of resin used.
